Players will play individual stroke play. After the round players will be randomly paired with another player and a two man better ball score will be the razz result for the team.

Two man teams and you will play your own ball each hole. We will use the better of the two scores for your team score. Players will each have to play 6 holes from each tee box. 6 from White, 6 from red and 6 from gold.

Individual Stroke play in which we will automatically remove the three worst scores to par after the round. Razz score will be a 15 hole score.

2 man 666 event. This format is require you to play as a two man team. For the first six holes you will each play and record the score for your own ball and 1 best ball will be counted as your team score.

For the second six holes (7-12) you and your partner will play true alternate shot. You may choose whom tees off on hole 7 but then you will alternate from then on. If a player makes a putt the other player will tee off on the next hole. 

For the final six holes (13-18) you and your partner will play a two man scramble. 

 

For net scoring handicap allocation will be as follows:

Holes 1-6  100% of your course handicap

Holes 7-12 50% of the sum of the players course handicaps

Holes 13-18  35% of the lower handicap players course handicap + 15% of the higher handicap players course handicap.

 

Payouts will be awarded to net and gross teams, this event will not be flighted and will pay against the field.

You must also hit 3 tee shots from the Black Tees and 3 Tee shots from the Burgundy Tees. You can select which holes you want to play each tee shot from, plan wisely!

Two man teams for a shamble. Each player tees off and you will choose which of the two tee shots you want to play from. You will both hit your second shot from that point and then continue to play your own ball until holed. We will use the better of the two scores for razz and skins.

 

Players receive 70% of their handicaps.

Deuce/Skins is $15 optional and per player and paid to the team. 

Red Ball format

 

3 person teams - each team will get a numbered Red ball when they check in from the PRO SHOP.

 

1 person plays Red ball holes 1-6, then next team member holes 7-12, and third team member gets holes 13-18 *NOTE* you MUST turn in your RED ball for your team RED ball score to count!

 

While Red ball is being played the other two (2) team members will play their own ball and the score is the BETTER BALL for those two.

 

The TEAM SCORE will be the total of the RED BALL score and the BETTER BALL score. FULL Handicaps will be utilized also. 

 

Game fees this week as follows:

 

$10.00 per player - RAZZ (again this is a MANDATORY fee) paid out to the team

$15.00 per player - DEUCE/SKINS

 

WINTER RULES are NO LONGER in effect.

Chapman Alternate shot. This format requires teams of two. On each hole you and your partner will both tee off. You will then proceed to hit your partners ball and your partner will hit your tee shot. After you’ve both hit your second shots you will determine which ball you want to play and alternate hitting shots until the ball is holed. Teams will receive 40% of their combined handicap. Under 70 Tee box is White, over is Green.  

Razz entry will be $20 per team, Skins/Deuce is $30 per team. Payouts are per team. Pot will be added to by mens club dues.

Points race points are doubled. 

Individual Stroke play. All Points will be doubled for the points race!

This week is a two man scramble in which points are doubled. 

 

Both players hit the tee shot and both players play from the ball they choose. They continue to choose the better of the two shots and play from there until holed.

 

1 team score for each hole.

 

Handicaps will be 15% of the higher handicp and 35% of the lower players handicap for a combined team handicap. 

In the 4-Man Cha Cha Cha tournament format, each member of the team plays his or her ball throughout. But a 3-hole rotation exists for determining how many scores are used to create the team score.
On the first hole (cha), the one low ball counts as the team score. On the second hole (cha cha), the two low balls count as the team score. On the third hole (cha cha cha), the three low balls count as the team score. The rotation starts over on the fourth hole.

This major is two man better ball. Both players play their ball through the hole and we take the better of the two scores for each hole.

This is a return format for us in 2019. The format will be better ball but each player will choose 3 clubs from their bag and you will combine those with the other player on your team to make a 6 club bag. You will be able to share those clubs. You may both bring your own putter or driver for example but you can have at most, 6 clubs in your combined bag for the round and 3 from each player. You may not bring 6 clubs from one player it must be 3 & 3. 

 

100% handicaps will be used.

Stableford scoring rewards risk-taking on the golf course because a birdie is twice as rewarding (2 points) as a bogey is punitive (-1).

Eagles offer huge payoffs (5 points) and the worst a player could possibly do would be a double bogey (-3 points) at which point he would pick up his ball and carry on to the next hole.

Those golfers who make a few bogeys but also make a lot of birdies or eagles are more likely to be atop the leaderboards.

Greensomes, also known as Scotch Foursomes, is a competition format that is a variation of foursomes (2-person teams, each playing one ball).

 

In Greensomes, both players on a team tee off, the best of the two tee balls is selected and that ball is then played alternate-shot until holed.

1 man Scramble - Players will have 1 mulligan per hole. Mulligans to not carry over and can be used on any shot. 

Handicaps will be adjusted to use 70% of your course handicap

Two man scramble yellow ball requires that both players play a ball and then proceed to whichever of the two balls they prefer for the second shot.

 

They both hit and then both play from the preferred shot until holed.

 

Each team will be given one numbered yellow golf ball. That ball much be played by one player for 9 holes and the other player for the second 9. 

 

If that ball is lost your team score does not count for the razz. It will count for skins but not the razz.

 

 

Handicaps will use 35% of the lower players handicap and 15% of the higher players handicap for a combined team handicap.
